Punchu

Punchu is an indie rock band formed the summer of 2017 in Whitby, Ontario. They are an eclectic mix of post-punk, prog, new wave and jazz influenced instrumentation. They draw stylistic influence from bands such as Ovlov, Tera Melos, Polvo, Delta Sleep, PUP, Peaer, and Pavement. Their lyrics are what can be described as emo satire, with heavy topics such as baseball, Canadian living, not being fish, and most importantly: a love of food. Their live show is an energetic set of music and stage antics.
